An International Fair Embracing 150 years of Fine Arts, Decorative Arts and Design of the 20th and 21st Centuries

PAD New York 2011

PAD art fairs are appreciated for their distinct atmosphere of elegance which is purely a reflection of the highest quality of works each dealer brings. We attract ambitious collectors who take their time discovering something new or complimentary.’ Patrick Perrin, Co-founder PAD New York

Building on the heritage of PAD Paris and PAD London, this inaugural fair coincides with New York’s fall cultural season of Impressionist, Modern, Contemporary Art and Design auctions to bring together a selection of 49 international galleries to the Park Avenue Armory. PAD New York will bring together exceptional works of Modern Art, Design, Decorative Arts, Photography, Jewellery and Tribal Art from the 1890s to today. The fair will provide a unique opportunity to see and buy works by blue-chip artists and historic and established designers vetted by a panel of experts allowing you to buy in confidence.

Taking place at the historic and prestigious former military headquarters, the Park Avenue Armoury is within walking distance to New York’s top museums, auction houses, galleries, hotels and restaurants on the city’s Upper Eastside. An international art power centre, the New York art world comes alive during the fall auction season with collectors, dealers, and connoisseurs alike converging in the city for top-quality museum and gallery exhibitions.

Since opening originally in Paris 15 years ago and in London in 2007, PAD fairs are synonymous with showcasing works of the highest-quality and is appreciated for their calm and understated elegance- a must-see on the international art calendar. PAD New York 2011 is positioned to become Manhattan’s premier international art and design fair bringing together the best of what internationally renowned galleries have to offer during this first-class season of high-profile international art events.
